SSB , Indian Army TGC Interview i got rejected 22-27 October 2009
As every Indian, i had a dream to be a part of Indian army. I already been through SSB twice when i was young and completed my 12th. At that time i gone for officers grade SSB interview i.e. TES Entry. 1st time i got screened out, so what is screened out it means very next day you enter the SSB compound you gone through some test and story writing. So for 1st time i been to SSB (Allahabad) i got Screened out. After 6 month i again opt for the same (SSB Bhopal) and this time i got conference out, i.e. i remained there for 5 days clearing 1st day test. This is completely different Experience for me at that time. I remember the question why i want to be in Indian army at that time i just replied that i had dream to be part of indian army. I got rejected again after 5 days of interview.
But the Rejection is some what good for me and i got selected in Engineering Entrance and Completed my Engineering in Computer Science from NIT rourkela (2002 -2006). Got Campus Selected , do my job sincerely and after 3 1/2 yr of work i got another chance to be part of Indian Army this time for TGC Entrance after Engineering. I filled the form and got selected again for SSB interview.
This time its different, i had answer to every question , i think and took decision what to do and what not to do. And This time i had answer for question Why I want to Join Indian Army.
But From Very Starting it went wrong , its written in our interview letter that you report from 2:30 - 3:30 PM at bhopal station and when i go there nothing was there. I query for the same, answer from any army person who is standing at bhopal station that you have to report from 1:30 to 2:30 PM.I show them my interview letter but they didn't understand. I became so angry that i didn't want to go for interview. 2 -5 more guys with me say that we can hire a taxi and go there. After some time i agree and finally we are at bhopal SSB center. Later i come to know that we are in 22 SSB, Again i clear the Screening and got selected for 5 days of interview and got Batch 25.
This time i had some question, and as the interview process goes on it seems to me that i am not the write person for army. Why i think so, I remember the group discussion that where we had given title , Threat to India naxalite or neighboring country. As i had studied from Rourkela i know why poor people are attracted towards naxalite and Even i been to Jammu, kashmir, ladakh and know the condition of indian army there. In that discussion other member saying randomly any thing not having knowledge of ground level, and i am the only fool in between them who is sharing his experience with them. In Group task solving an obstacle , every body do things without any planing, it seems that they know every thing and still we won't able to complete the obstacle.
This is Strange for me , as i am sharing my experience and solve things using my past experience, and every body else read book at night and apply that knowledge. Even in 5 Days i shared my experience with many of them, i want to join the indian army because i love to join it, other want to join indian army because their parent what that , may be good pay scale , may be good life style and bla bla bla .
In Interview i am the only guy who wore , t-shirt , sports shoe as that i was, other are in complete formal. This is very strange for me as i won't do that thing in my life to show something and do something. All in all the experience is great , i love each and every part of it and i am glade that i got rejected , this give me courage to do some different thing.

Not get selected after 5 days of hard metal , physical interview in 22 SSB of bhopal, but come with a positive word by Lt. krnl Prashant K that even former president Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam and Actor Amitab Bachan not get selected in SSB.
All in all indian common man are the building block of Indian and Army is a protector , if you are not in indian army still your are the building block and a small job is a great step to make india a big developed Country.
